XSEED’s ‘Thinking Child’ conference, held on the 23rd of July, saw the proponents of education come together. There was a discussion of best practices, a conversation on what entails a ‘Thinking child’ and how schools can leverage their ethos to achieve the same.
Umesh Malhotra, CEO of Hippocampus and Nishi Jauhar, Step by Step were invited as panellists to share their thoughts.
Umesh talked about how in his experience he had seen too many adults struggle with their ‘thinking’, Be it critical or creative! A ‘Thinking child’ becomes all the more important in such a scenario. At Hippocampus, a classroom does not mean a robotic child sitting in silence. For us, learning happens ‘by doing!’ We firmly believe in putting the power of learning in the hands of the child. Watch our CEO share all this and more in the panel discussion. Also, partake in the most heartwarming moment when we heard Mr Ashish Rajpal talk about his visit to our Maland Hippocampus International School and the profound impact the visit had on him.
