Hippocampus Schools celebrated National Doctor’s Day

On July 1st, students and teachers at all Hippocampus Schools celebrated National Doctor’s Day by thanking the front line warriors, followed by a guest lecture by doctors who addressed students of all grades.

The celebration was an attempt to emphasize the value of doctors in our lives and to express our gratitude towards them. Doctors are the real heroes fighting at the forefront to save millions of lives around the globe. Teachers explained to the students about the importance of health and hygiene and the role played by the Doctor’s in our society. Students of Pre-primary and Primary were involved in various activities like “Show n Tell”, “Role Play” where they were encouraged to speak about tools and things commonly used by the Doctor’s . Our creative students demonstrated their talent and expressed heartfelt gratitude to doctors through beautifully designed cards. A presentation was shown to the students which gave them an insight into the life of doctors & how it revolves around relief & saving lives all around them. Students showed their gratitude towards the doctors by their speeches, poems and thank you cards in the most creative manner, Here’s a glimpse of the same.
